Frequently Asked

Pricing questions.

Is the price per person or per boat?

Per boat. Every trip is a private charter for up to six anglers. The only per-person charge anywhere is the $50 for each angler beyond two on the four-hour jetty trips.

Is there a fuel surcharge?

No. Fuel is built into the trip price at every distance, including the 60-mile offshore runs.

What deposit is required?

A deposit holds your date and the balance settles at the dock after the trip. Cash, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are all accepted.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 30 days before the trip date. Inside 30 days, deposits are non-refundable. If the captain cancels for weather, your deposit moves to the next available date at no charge.

Do you charge a booking fee?

No. Booking direct through the calendar or by phone carries no booking-platform commission.

Do you take larger groups?

Six is the Coast Guard capacity on the Half Time. For a larger group the captain co-ops with other Galveston captains to add boats, so call him with your headcount and he will tell you what he can put together.
